Mutual Office has always been more than an office.

It sounds bigger than it really is: 
a one-woman agency, nomadic, 
Eurasia- and internet-based.
Sometimes it’s an office, 
sometimes a publisher, 
sometimes just a good excuse to stay mutual.

Mutual Office began in Shanghai in 2019
with little more than a suitcase,
a borrowed studio,
and a garden with friends.
What was supposed to be a workplace
quickly turned into a hangout, a shelter,
and sometimes even a party
I didn’t know I was hosting.
In 2020, I moved to the Netherlands, 
and Mutual Office moved with me.
